On January 18, 2026, St. Joseph Choir at Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Bunju, Tanzania conducted a capacity building to its songsters and songbirds on effective use of social media to market not only their choir but also their goods and services.
Speaking during the capacity building, the Choir’s spokesperson and trainer Rose Ngunangwa called upon the need to utilize social media especially their status, Instagram and Facebook pages to showcase what the choir does as well as their attributes to enable them to earn a meaningful income.
“ Each one of you has an attribute that you could utilize to earn a meaningful income regardless of your education background. Make sure you utilize your social media accounts to market whatever entrepreneurship activities you are involved, in” stressed the trainer.
St. Joseph Choir in Bunju has 106 songsters and songbirds and is one of the most promising upcoming choirs in Tanzania having successfully taken part in various national wide concerts such as Mkatoliki and TYM just to mention a few.
Their most recent hits Ishara ya Msalaba and Nia Yangu are currently stealing the show in digital platforms.
