TAARIFA KWA VYOMBO VYA HABARI
MAKUSANYO YA KODI MWEZI JULAI – SEPTEMBA 2017
Mamlaka ya Mapato Tanzania (TRA) inapenda kutoa taarifa ya makusanyo ya mapato ya kipindi cha robo ya kwanza ya mwaka wa fedha 2017/2018. Katika kipindi cha mwezi Julai hadi Septemba 2017, TRA imekusanya jumla ya Shilingi Trilioni 3.65.
Makusanyo haya ni sawa na ukuaji wa asilimia 1.2 ikilinganishwa na makusanyo ya kipindi kama hicho kwa  mwaka wa fedha 2016/17.
Katika kipindi hicho cha miezi mitatu, makusanyo ya kila mwezi yalikuwa kama ifuatavyo;-
Julai, 2017  Shilingi 1,101,193,417,551.91
Agosti, 2017 Shilingi 1,205,008,256,053.51
Septemba, 2017 Shilingi 1,345, 339,916,757.65
Kwa makusanyo haya, Mamlaka ya Mapato Tanzania, inapenda kuwashukuru wafanyabiashara na wananchi wote kwa ujumla kwa kuendelea kulipa kodi na kuiwezesha serikali kutimiza majukumu yake ya kuwahudumia wananchi.
Aidha, Mamlaka inapenda kuwakumbusha wafanyabiashara wote kutoa risiti za kielektroniki kwa kila mauzo na kudai risiti kwa kila manunuzi kwani ni njia pekee ya kupata mauzo sahihi yanayoiwezesha TRA kukokotoa kodi sahihi na kwa haki.


“Napenda kuwakumbusha wananchi wote kuhakiki risiti zao ili kuona usahihi wa tarehe na kiasi walicholipa na bidhaa waliyonunua kabla ya kuondoka na risiti hiyo. Endapo utaona haina vigezo tafadhali ripoti kwenye ofisi ya TRA iliyokaribu nawe au piga simu kituo chetu cha huduma kwa wateja kwa namba 0800750075 au 0800780078. Anasisitiza Richard Kayombo, Mkurugenzi wa Huduma na Elimu kwa Mlipakodi.


Vile vile, Mamlaka inawakumbusha wamiliki wa majengo nchini kulipa kodi ya majengo mapema badala ya kusubiri mwishoni mwa mwaka wa fedha ili kuepuka misongamano na usumbufu usio wa lazima.


Pia, wafanyabiashara wa michezo ya kubahatisha wanapewa wito wa kulipakodi zao kwa mujibu wa sheria ya michezo ya kubahatisha sura namba 41.

REVENUE COLLECTION FOR JULY – SEPTEMBER 2017
Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) would like to publish the revenue collections for the first quarter of the 2017/2018 fiscal year that covers July to September, 2017. During the period, TRA collected a total of Tshs. 3.65 Trillion.
The amount collected is equivalent to a growth of 1.2 per cent compared to the same period in the last fiscal year 2016/2017.
The monthly collections for each of the first three months are as follows:-
July, 2017 Tsh 1,101,193,417,551.91
August, 2017 Tsh 1,205,008,256,053.51
September, 2017 Tsh 1.345, 339,916,757.65
TRA would like to acknowledge and thank all taxpayers and the general public for their continued compliance in paying taxes that enables the government to fulfil its responsibilities towards serving its citizens by delivering various social services and implementation of infrastructure projects.
On another note, TRA reminds the business community to continue issuing electronic receipts through Electronic Fiscal Devices (EFDs) for every transaction and we as well urge the general public to demand electronic receipts for every purchase since it’s the only way that enables TRA to obtain the correct sales information which forms a basis for fair tax assessments. 

“I would like to remind the general public to verify the electronic receipts issued if they are genuine by checking the correctness of the date, amount paid and the product bought before leaving the premises, if any inconsistences are noted, please report to any TRA offices or call our call Centre on 0800 750075 or 0800780078”, emphasized Richard Kayombo, the Director for Taxpayers Services and Education.

Meanwhile, TRA is also reminding all property owners to pay their property taxes at the earliest convenience to avoid long queues at the end of the financial as witnessed in June this year.
Operators of Gaming activities and casinos are also reminded to pay their taxes timely according to Gaming Act No. 41 and as per the Finance ACT 2017.
